For more than ten years, the Center has provided leadership in advanced information technologies and IT workforce development to help New York State business and academe integrate the latest advances in computing.

Today, the Cornell University Center for Advanced Computing continues this mission, designing and implementing new technology prototypes while advancing the science of high-performance computing and data analysis.

CAC helps ensure New York State’s leadership in research (Cornell research expenditures are ranked #1 in New York State, 15^th nationally) and computer science (ranked #1 in New York State, 15^th nationally). Cornell students are heavily recruited by New York’s leading business and entrepreneurs. The top ten employers include Deloitte Consulting, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley.
