Batch Scheduler - Moab

V4 is scheduled by the Moab scheduler and jobs are run on the system by the Torque resource manager. This means that you'll be submitting jobs to Moab, but they'll be executed by Torque. The links below provide you with information on how to effectively use the system.

v4 Queue Information (use mdiag -c to view on v4)

  • v4 - Main batch queue to get access to blades.
    1. Nodes: compute-1-[1-48], compute-2-[1-32], compute-3-[1-48]
    2. Limits:
    3. Currently none
  • v4dev - Developent queue to get access to development blades for debugging/testing, etc.
    1. Nodes: compute-3-[47-48]
    2. Limits:
    3. Maximum of 2 nodes or 16 processors
    4. Maximum walltime of 60 minutes
  • v4-64g - Queue for access to high-memory (64GB) servers
    1. lmcompute-4-[1-4]
    2. Limits:
    3. Maxmimum of 4 nodes or 32 processors
