ITHACA, N.Y. – David Lifka, director of the Cornell University Center for Advanced Computing, is an invited speaker on cloud computing at EucaDay NYC to be held at The Bailey in Manhattan on April 25, 2012. Lifka will be speaking about cloud computing use cases in scientific research and education and the Eucalyptus-based Red Cloud platform. The EucaDay NYC event is hosted by Eucalyptus Systems. The day will kick off with keynotes by CEO Marten Mickos and VP of Engineering Tim Cramer who will take the attendees through what’s new with Eucalyptus 3, the open source IaaS platform.
